Los Angeles Rollover Crash

Two Los Angeles firefighters were transported to a hospital Thursday after their LAFD vehicle overturned during a collision in South Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The crash occurred at about 2:05 p.m. in the 240 block of West 108th Street near South Broadway.

LAFD spokesperson Jamie Stewart provided details regarding the incident, noting that an adult woman in the second vehicle was evaluated at the scene. The firefighters were in a Fast Response Vehicle, which carries fire suppression and paramedic gear and overturned in the roadway.

It remained unclear if the fast-response vehicle had been responding to a fire and whether its emergency lights and sirens were on.
